About Lanzarote Maps

Lanzarote Maps is a privately owned web site designed to help tourists and residents find their way around the island.  We are part of The Busy Bird Group and powered by NISCOWeb (both subsidiaries of NISCO Holdings S.L) - you can find out more about us at our corporate site at www.niscoweb.com and www.thebusybirdgroup.com

It also offers businesses the opportunity to advertise their location on our maps to both promote themselves and also to enable customers to find them easily.  We even provide a unique web address for each business allowing them to put their location into their other advertising and email signatures.

The street maps are powered by a combination of Google Map with some customizations (mash ups) powered by a sophisticated database.  Maps are generated by Google and then our code overlays them and provides easy ways for visitors to find the place they are looking for.

Over time the site will grow as advertisers add themselves to the maps and resources are added such as pharmacies and other essential services.
